7th Annual Ozark Spring Run
When: June 7-10, 2012
Where: In the Ozark's of course ! …but for those unfamiliar with this part of the country it's Eureka Springs, AR. Eureka Springs is located in the beautiful hills of Northwest Arkansas and is surrounded by some of the best motorcycling roads in America. What it is: Ozark Spring Run (OSR)
What it was: Eureka Springs Spring Fling
Four days of fun with some of the finest folks you will ever meet. The event is open to riders regardless of brand. However, this was and is an event that originated with a bunch of Vulcan riders, so you may be subjected to some good natured ribbing if you ride something other than that venerable Kawasaki V-Twin. What you won't find is the attitudes that often prevail at other events. Many first time attendees have found that the atmosphere is more like a family reunion than a motorcycle rally. But most have also found that they arrived as strangers and left as part of this big, relaxed brotherhood of bikers. This year's event is being hosted by members of the Plains VROC chapter and longtime denizens of the Delphi KVRF. However, in keeping with original laid-back, no rules idea for the Ozark Spring Run, we are not sanctioning the event under any organization's name. It is simply the Ozark Spring Run, so, come one, come all 'cause we are going to have a ball!

Room rates are below, and be sure and tell Larry(hotel mgr) you are with Plains VROC to get this rate, which is good for June 5 thru June 9 (Tuesday night/Saturday night)
$49 a night for regular rooms (most have 2 beds) 4 single queen - second floor
7 double queen - second floor
1 single king, tub w/jets - second floor
7 double queen - ground
1 single queen - ground, smoking
2 double queen - ground, smoking
$59 night 13 Jacuzzi rooms
7 second floor, 2 are smoking
6 ground
This is where we will kick back in the evenings and round up for group rides, etc. The owners are biker friendly and look forward to hosting even those folks forced to stay elsewhere. We are pretty excited about the new venue because of the great location, flat parking lot, pool area, and access to all things you may need very close by. For you more rustic types, camping is available up the road, at the Rider's Rest Motel 4092 E Van Buren, Eureka Springs, AR 72632 (479) 253-9815; they also have ten uniquely decorated rooms for bikers only. Additional lodging is available all over Eureka Springs.
Events: Keeping with a winning formula, no poker runs or anything else that would detract from the chance to ride, visit, eat and drink with some really great folks are planned. Generally there are several routes available each day and you can choose the group/ride the suits your fancy or you can just hang out around town.
